Charles W. Hinck is an aviation specialist who has served as the Vice President for Corporate Air USA and Vice President of Operations for Corporate Air Philippines during the course of his career. Mr. Hinck is currently a Consultant for Marketing and Sales at Pacific JetCorp, Ltd. Charles Hinck’s love of flying began at an early age, when—as a child—his grandfather took him to visit the Hinck Flying Service hangars at Monticello and Crystal airports in Minnesota. Charles Hinck hails from a family of flyers: his father, Irving C. Hinck, served as a flight instructor for Hinck Flying Service and was a demonstration pilot for Republic Seabee. Irving later joined North West Airlines (NWA) in 1948 and retiring as senior captain in 1974. Charles’ grandfather, Clarence “CW” Hinck, was the founder of Hinck Flying Service in 1919—a service that was in continuous operation until his death in 1966. _After attending St. James Military School in Faribault, MN (now Shattuck-St. Mary’s School), Charles Hinck attended St. Thomas Military Academy in Mendota Heights, MN, where he graduated Captain, R.O.T.C. He later attended Montana State University in Billings, and Rocky Mountain College, where—later in life—he taught Aviation Law. In 1970, he received his pilot’s license at Lynch Flying Service in Billings, MT, in 1974 his Instrument Commercial Multi Engine license at Ross School of Aviation in Tulsa, OK and later on, his Airline Transport Pilot license in the Philippines. Charles Hinck has the honor of being among the first five individuals sent by FedEx to open the Asia Pacific hub for FedEx at the US Naval Base in Subic Bay, Philippines. _Charles Hinck’s interests are not limited to aviation alone. Between the years of 1971 and 1976, he was a professional skier in Red Lodge, Montana, as well as a certified ski instructor in Vail, Colorado, and at Red Lodge International Summer Ski Race Camp. He was also a ski racer and race coach for Silver Run Ski Education Foundation. _Today, along with Iren Dornier and Nick Gitsis, Charles is at work on aircraft projects for the Philippines and Germany. A sponsor of the DO-24ATT World Tour, Charles has helped the DO-24ATT reach over ninety destinations across the globe, to raise support and awareness for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) programs on child education, protection, and awareness. A proud father of two, Charles W. Hinck currently lives with his wife, Roslyn.
