The youngest son of an educator and a pediatrician, Charles J. Meyer was raised in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, where he excelled in sports and academics. Charles J. Meyer contributed to the varsity wrestling team at Cheltenham High School and participated in numerous scholastic and extracurricular activities. Upon graduation, Charles J. Meyer enrolled at Temple University in Philadelphia, where he continued his wrestling career, and declared his major in Sports Management. Receiving a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude), Charles J. Meyer sought the advice of a respected mentor and, accepting that advice, entered law school. In 1986, Charles J. Meyer graduated from Temple University School of Law. Earning a coveted position in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, Charles J. Meyer moved to New York City and served under District Attorney Robert M. Morgenthau. As an assistant district attorney from 1986 through 1990, Charles J. Meyer gained valuable trial experience. In addition, Charles J. Meyer led narcotics investigations. Maintaining a primary practice in Pennsylvania, Charles J. Meyer now limits his work to matrimonial law, which also often is referred to as family law or divorce law. A shareholder at the well-respected Pennsylvania firm, Elliott Greenleaf & Siedzikowski, PC, Charles J. Meyer serves as Chairman of the Family Law Practice Group, where he handles cases concerning all aspects of the economic issues related to divorce, including equitable distribution, alimony, child support, spousal support and more. In addition, Charles J. Meyer negotiates prenuptial agreements. Charles J. Meyer lives and works in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
