Contributing to the successful performance of the Commercial Banking division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Chima Ugwuegbu manages the Far West Regions from a pricing perspective as a Vice President and Product Pricing Manager in Atlanta, Georgia. He holds more than 10 years of experience in internal and external financial reporting, as well as financial planning and analysis, regulatory reporting, and project management.

Mr. Ugwuegbu entered the financial industry as a Financial Analyst for Bank of America’s Northeast Consumer Banking Products division in Boston, Massachusetts. Maintaining important relationships within the company’s business and financial unit, he prepared analysis results to assist senior management in achieving profitability of products, markets, and businesses. In addition, Mr. Ugwuegbu produced weekly and monthly reports that resulted in increased productivity of 30%, as well as performed strategic budget planning processes. After two years in this role, he assumed the position of Senior Business Analyst for Bank of America’s Northeast Middle Market Group. Reporting to division controllers relying on him for analytical support, Chima Ugwuegbu provided profit and loss analysis, balance sheet planning, forecasting, and variance analysis. The main contact for 3 lines of business with combined revenues over $250 million, Mr. Ugwuegbu assisted with the sale of the Payroll Processing division to Paychex, Inc., which netted Bank of America $115 million. As a Senior Financial Analyst for Bank of America’s Regulatory Reporting division, Mr. Ugwuegbu contributed reports to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and directed the creation of a new deposit reporting model that improved completion time by 50%

Educated at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Mr. Ugwuegbu completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2000. He returned to his alma mater to pursue a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance in 2007, completing the degree in 2009.
