About Chris Fedeli

With nearly a decade of experience practicing telecommunications law at several Washington, DC law firms, Chris Fedeli is often called upon by groups and organizations to offer his thoughts on and insights into the cable television, wireless, and broadband industries.

While serving as an Associate in 2004 with Richard S. Becker & Associates, Chartered, Chris Fedeli participated in the Telecommunications Policy Research Conference discussing Internet pricing and access. A year later, the Federal Communications Bar Association (FCBA) used Chris Fedeli in its talk on “Cable and Broadband Rules for an Evolving Landscape.” Chris Fedeli served the FCBA the following year to discuss “Communications Law and the Internet: Content, Carriage, and Access in the Digital Age.” Also in 2006, the Telecommunications Policy Research Conference again summoned Chris Fedeli to speak on “Internet, telephony, and the law.” In 2009, Professor Andrea Johnson of the California Western School of Law used Chris Fedeli as a special guest lecturer on FCC Internet regulation during her Telecommunications Law seminar. As Co-Chair of the FCBA’s Video Programming and Distribution Committee, Chris Fedeli participated in a panel discussion of “Online Video Distribution Issues in Europe.”

Currently, Chris Fedeli works for Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a Washington, DC law firm counseling wireless companies and cable operators in telecommunications and regulatory law, and writing for the firm’s Broadband Law Advisor blog. He has a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh.
