Chris Galanto is an advertising professional with years of experience in the Middle East. He has worked with international agencies and on some of the largest accounts in the region.. As a Regional Account Director with the Dubai offices of Impact BBDO, Chris Galanto earned several accolades for his work with Pepsi-Cola International Ltd. Chris Galanto’s 7Up television campaign received the 1999 Best in Category award from the International Advertising Association, while his Pepsi commercials garnered the 2001 Best in Category award . Chris Galanto also created a promotional concept for the soft drink brand Mirinda, which received the 2000 BTL Advertising Best Consumer Promotion award.
Today, Chris Galanto works as Managing Director of Impact BBDO Qatar. where he led the initiative to open a new office in the expanding Qatar market.
Prior to joining Impact BBDO, Chris Galanto served in executive positions with JWT Dubai and Four Winds Logistics Saudi Arabia Ltd. Chris Galanto also assisted Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida in creating an authentic Moroccan Pavilion, serving as a liaison between the project managers and Moroccan master craftsmen.
Chris Galanto holds a Master of Arts degree in International Trade and Middle Eastern Studies from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy in Boston, Massachusetts, where he received The Fletcher School Wriston Scholarship for academic excellence in the business field. Chris Galanto also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History from Connecticut College.
