It was in this environment that he experienced a life-altering moment of epiphany that enabled him, with the guidance of friendship and conversation, to begin to receive vital gifts held out to him by the hands of those often deemed “needy.”

Chris is confident that moments of epiphany which lead to a journey of transformation are necessary for a life well-lived. Since his street work in Toronto, he has tenaciously pursued a mission to invite others to these moments, found when we choose to step beyond our known comfort zones.

Over the past 20 years, he has worked alongside NPO’s across North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia utilizing a model that elevates volunteerism from a task-oriented experience to a transformative experience.
