Investor Christian B. Sullivan has participated in the world of finance and investment for more than a decade. Early in his career, he invested in Moonpig.com, a London-based greeting card company that has since expanded to the United States and Australia. Christian B. Sullivan was also an early backer of Green Energy Options Ltd., which markets cutting-edge devices for energy conservation and monitoring, such as smart meters and thermostats and solar power management systems. Passionate about energy issues, Christian B. Sullivan has used his experience in his work with the UNIS Global Energy Fund, based in New York City. At the UNIS fund, Sullivan acts as a hedge fund Managing Partner, concentrating on building the fund. Christian B. Sullivan’s other experience includes setting up a real estate investment vehicle in Poland that attracted pension fund investors, and he worked as a consultant, assigning value to privately owned companies by using models of discounted cash flow, relative value, and asset based value. Subsequently, Sullivan served as Managing Director for Deutsche Bank AG, managing brokers who dealt with institutional investors; his work took him to Russia, Europe, and South Africa, cultivating relationships with brokers in Warsaw, London, Cape Town, and Moscow. Utilizing his experience, Christian B. Sullivan helped acquire startup funding for Golden Seeds, a foundation that facilitates women-owned businesses. Golden Seeds uses seed money from angel investors, individuals who put their own private money into new enterprises, as opposed to venture capitalists who manage pools of money from other investors. Christian B. Sullivan is also active with ReMIND.org, run by the Bob Woodruff Foundation, and Futures and Options, which helps disadvantaged youths find internships. Sullivan has recently served as a Board Member for the latter organization. Christian B. Sullivan also contributes to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, the Food Bank for New York City, and other New York-based charities. Before pursuing his career, Christian B. Sullivan received his Bachelor of Arts from Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut. During his spare time, Sullivan enjoys the New Jersey Nets as season ticket holder.
