Growing up as an independent school system student, Christopher J. Sise found purpose in pursuing a career in the same arena. After studying at The Allen-Stevenson School in New York for 10 years and Kent School in Connecticut for 3 years, he enrolled at Syracuse University. There, Sise studied child education and development, earning a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies. While attending college, he volunteered at the Bernice M. Wright Child Development Laboratory School at Syracuse University as a Teaching Assistant. Christopher J. Sise also acted as a Program Design Assistant at Nurturing World Child Care Center in Syracuse.

In 2002, Christopher J. Sise accepted a position at The Episcopal School in the City of New York. As an Assistant Teacher for six years, he gained valuable classroom experience and led parent-teacher conferences. In this post, Sise also became adept at writing reports required by the Independent School Admission Association of Greater New York. Additional classroom duties included facilitating students’ transitions to ongoing schools and aiding in their curriculum plans.

Christopher J. Sise moved into the administrative side of education in 2008, believing he could make a greater impact there. He became an Administrative Assistant in Admissions, reporting to the Director of Admissions. As such, he conducts parent tours, compiles and distributes admissions packets, and assesses prospective applicants. Christopher J. Sise also processes applications, supplies financial aid information, and maintains the Admissions database.

A faithful American Red Cross blood donor, Christopher J. Sise holds memberships in the Association to Benefit Children and The Association of Teachers in Independent Schools in New York City and Vicinity. Sise also supports child development program Cassidy’s Place. Additionally, he served as a Head Counselor at Trinity Day Camp in New York for 14 years.
