Bringing a successful legal career and more than 35 years of business experience, Clark A. Marcus is the highly qualified Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive officer of the specialized health care firm, Comprehensive Care Corporation in Tampa, Florida. Clark Marcus joined the firm as Chairman and co-CEO in 2009 and contributed significantly to the executive staff’s efforts to increase revenues. In 2010, Clark Marcus became Comprehensive Care Corporation’s singular CEO when the firm’s co-CEO, President, and Director, John Hill, resigned.
Clark Marcus began his career after graduating from Brooklyn Law School in 1967. A successful lawyer, Clark Marcus represented a number of clients and made Senior Partner at two prestigious law firms in the New York area. In 1971, Clark Marcus decided to invest in the international distribution company, The Gordon Fitch Exchange. After only one year, Clark Marcus saw substantial returns on his initial investment and decided to pursue additional business opportunities. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Clark Marcus was very active in the business world, involving himself with companies in industries as diverse as toy manufacturing and satellite communications. Eventually, Clark Marcus founded and provided funding for two private companies, both of which generated impressive returns for early-stage investors when the companies went public.
With an array of successful ventures under his belt, Clark Marcus and several associates founded Amacore Group, Inc., a health care distribution firm. During his nearly 15 years with the firm, Clark Marcus held several important positions, including Chairman of the Board, CEO, and President. In 2008, Clark Marcus co-founded Core Corporate Consulting Group, Inc., which was acquired by Comprehensive Care Corporation in early 2009. With his years of experience in the health care industry, Clark Marcus served a member of the Corporate Advisory Council of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Additionally, Clark Marcus has contributed articles to some of the nation’s most respected health care publications and has spoken at multiple national health care conferences.
