Balsam Hill Christmas Tree
Overview
During
the winter holidays, customers continually turn to Balsam Hill for
their Christmas tree needs. The leading producer of artificial Christmas
trees, Balsam Hill presents customers with realistic trees modeled
after evergreens found in the South, New England, the West Coast, and
the Rocky Mountains. In 2010, Balsam Hill debuted a new collection of
Christmas trees. Adding to the Aspen Christmas, Napa Christmas, and
Vermont Signature collections, Balsam Hill introduced the Smoky Mountain
Christmas collection of trees, inspired by those trees found in North
Carolina and Tennessee. Two years prior, addressing the increasing
demand for a product that was more space-friendly, Balsam Hill began
offering the Fifth Avenue Flatback Christmas tree. The unique design
allows the tree to stand against a wall, thereby keeping floor space
free and opening up narrow and tight areas. Noted for its premium
quality Christmas trees and wide selection of styles, Balsam Hill
represented the American Christmas Tree Association in 2007 when the
environmental debate about artificial versus real trees was a main topic
of conversation. Defending artificial trees as a safe and
environmentally friendly alternative to real Christmas trees, Balsam
Hill cited that imitation trees aided in reducing deforestation and the
use of pesticides. Balsam Hill further promoted the use of its
artificial Christmas trees as a safer alternative since the products do
not use exposed lights or require regular watering to prevent fires.
