Black Dog Excavating
Overview
Named after company owner Tim Muckler’s three Labrador retrievers, Black Dog Excavating provides superior asphalt and excavation services to Divide, Colorado. Black Dog Excavating came into existence in 2007 when Mr. Muckler purchased a tractor with the initial intent of clearing snow from his driveway. He began charging small fees to clear snow for his neighbors throughout the community and when spring came, he partnered with Avery Asphalt and began repairing damaged roads and driveways. Since then, the company has become fully licensed and insured.
Black Dog Excavating offers a wide variety of excavation-related services, including road grating, building retaining walls, landscaping, erosion control, and the delivery of materials such as gravel, top soil, and sod. The company’s asphalt services include laying new driveways, repairing existing driveways, seal coating, striping, overlays, patching, and infraredding. Black Dog Excavating works on residential and commercial projects of any size in the counties of Teller, Park, and part of El Paso. Confident in the quality of its work, Black Dog Excavating offers a one-year warranty on all materials and services. The company is committed to charging the customer only what has been quoted in the estimate.
Black Dog Excavating believes in remaining active in the community and donates to local fundraisers regularly. Mr. Muckler and his wife support the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and the Humane Society of the United States. Tim Muckler served in the United States Marine Corps; an avid outdoorsman, Mr. Muckler enjoys hunting and fishing, and he is passionate about conservation.
