Located in Marco Island, Florida,
Capt. Brien’s Seafood and Raw Bar is home to quality New England seafood, a
relaxing environment reminiscent of Cape Cod in an island setting, and the Off
the Hook Comedy Club, one of the premier comedy venues in Southern Florida.
Founded in 2001 as Capt. Brien’s Seafood and Roast Beef, the restaurant has
since expanded to locations around the country.
Capt. Brien’s Seafood and Raw Bar’s
dedication to high-quality, traditional New England cuisine springs from its
founders, Captain Brien Spina and his father, Santo Spina, natives of
Wakefield, Massachusetts. Their dedication to quality made them decide before
the first store was ever opened that they would serve only the freshest fish.
To that end, Capt. Brien’s flies its seafood in every day from local fishing
fleets, allowing them to serve the freshest possible lobster, crab, tuna,
salmon, mahi mahi, shrimp, oysters, snapper, grouper, and other seafood.
As host of the Off the Hook Comedy
Club, Capt. Brien’s Marco Island location has seen some of the most famous
comedians performing today walk through its doors. Past guests have included
Cedric the Entertainer of The Barber Shop and The Steve Harvey Show, Eddie
Griffin of Malcolm & Eddie and Undercover Brother, Donnell Rawlings of Chappelle’s
Show, and Pauly Shore of Comics Unleashed and Entourage. Off the Hook Comedy
