Carebear Preschool in Chandler,
Arizona, aims to offer children a hands-on educational experience that improves
their confidence and self-discipline. Carebear Preschool teachers and
administrators seek to provide the most advanced curriculum available by
frequently reassessing school operations.
With facilities in the Fulton Ranch
and Downtown Ocotillo neighborhoods in Chandler, Carebear Preschool helps
prepare students between the ages of two and five for a fulfilling year in
kindergarten. Carebear Preschool also encourages parents to attend the school
in order to give guidance or help out with activities for children. With
multiple teachers working at both locations, the school provides individualized
learning for students. Carebear Preschool instructors give each student the
attention needed to excel academically and emotionally. In Spanish class, for
instance, the school limits the number of students to a dozen.
Besides foreign language classes,
Carebear Preschool’s curriculum features many different areas, including
language arts, science, math, penmanship, reading, and writing. Alongside these
intellectual studies, students sing and dance, in addition to playing sports in
physical education class.
Along with academics and athletics,
activities such as clean-up time teach students responsibility and
organizational skills, while arts and crafts allows them to express their
creativity. Carebear Preschool teachers retain examples of students’ work throughout
the year and send them home in May for parents to keep.
Carebear Preschool’s curricula at
both locations includes Speechercise, which gives students an understanding of
correct pronunciation and helps repair speech disorders. The school’s show-and-tell
program lets students share their belongings with others while helping them
listen and speak clearly. Additionally, students at Carebear Preschool use
their imaginations when they play together during free time.
