Carolyn M. Young Fiduciary Services
Overview
For two and a half decades, Carolyn M. Young has specialized in personal and financial fiduciary services. As a business owner and fiduciary-services provider, she acts as a conservator, administrator, guardian, trustee, executor, and agent of powers of attorney. This means that on a daily basis, Carolyn M. Young manages $75 million of her clients’ assets, whether that be by selling or renting real estate, selling or storing personal property, making critical investment decisions, or filing taxes.
In the event of a client’s death, Carolyn M. Young administers the deceased’s estate and makes all final arrangements. With the help of a lawyer, she sends trust notification, pays any debts, files final income tax returns, and creates a record of the estate that chronicles the movement of funds from the time of the principal’s death to the closing of the estate. In the event that the deceased person created a special needs trust for a disabled child, relative, or loved one, Carolyn M. Young manages and administers that trust.
Before becoming a fiduciary-services professional, Carolyn M. Young laid the foundations for her career with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento. To hone her fiduciary services, she has also taken classes in accounting and finance as part of her fiduciary license requirements, and she participates in at least 15 hours of educational courses and training annually. Well connected with others in the fiduciary-services profession, Carolyn M. Young maintains charter membership in the Professional Fiduciary Association of California.
