CMC Makeup School
Overview
CMC Makeup School offers a premier facility for students, with three locations in Southern California and two locations in Texas. CMC is renowned for small class sizes, individualized attention, and strong portfolio development. In 2011, CMC Makeup School received the Customer Satisfaction Award for Excellence in Customer Care from Talk of the Town News, Celebration Media, and Customer Care News.
Students at CMC Makeup School learn how to prepare models for fashion shoots, portraits, wedding shoots, and model portfolios. They receive a unique experience during their makeup and hair education because of the high percentage of individualized time with the instructors. Additionally, all the instructors at CMC Makeup School are practicing freelance artists with real-world experience in the field of fashion and beauty. Through hearing about their experience and learning new techniques, students at CMC Makeup School gain confidence and solid skills in makeup and hair.
The talented instructors at CMC Makeup School include Christopher Luciano and Alyssa Skyes. Christopher Luciano currently works as a freelance makeup artist and fashion photographer throughout his native Los Angeles. He also travels to San Diego, California, as well as Dallas and Austin, Texas, in order to teach classes on beauty, airbrush, portfolio building, and fashion makeup. At CMC, one of his specialties is airbrush makeup work, which he passes on to his students with passion and finesse. Christopher Luciano’s classes at CMC Makeup School have proved invaluable resources for makeup artists, modeling agencies models, and designers.
Another one of the instructors at CMC Makeup School is Alyssa Skyes. She spent her childhood traveling with her parents throughout Central Latin America, living in countries like Venezuela, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Honduras, and Spain. During that time, Skyes formed many of her sensibilities about color, shape, and movement. She developed a keen eye for dramatic images and her photography strives to capture the fleeting essence of a moment. Originally from Southern California, Skyes is currently a freelance photographer and artist based out of Dallas, Texas. At CMC Makeup School, Alyssa Skyes brings all of her talent to her work as an instructor and enjoys creating works of beauty through makeup and hair artistry.
