D&M Leasing
Overview
D&M Leasing was founded in 1976 by Dallas-area car dealers Don Davis and David Moritz, from whose initials the company takes its name. At that time, leasing a car was a relatively uncommon choice for most drivers, and the company emphasized the benefits of leasing a vehicle over purchasing one. Since then, first under Davis’ and Moritz’s leadership and now co-owned by Mike Hernandez and Roger Lee, D&M Leasing has expanded dramatically; today, the company operates several locations in Dallas and Fort Worth, as well as in Houston, having become the largest consumer auto leasing company in the United States. D&M Leasing has achieved success through its consumer-focused policies. The company’s customers have free rein to design the cars they want to drive, complete with whatever features they care about. If D&M Leasing does not have that exact car on hand, the company procures it specifically for that particular contract. The company delivers vehicles straight to its customers; D&M Leasing offers this delivery option anywhere in the United States and at certain international locations as well. D&M Leasing also works to help potential customers sell their current vehicles, sometimes even taking them in on trade directly. Thanks to these policies and the hard work of its dedicated team members, D&M Leasing has built up a substantial satisfied clientele: The company receives 75 percent of its more than 600 monthly leases from repeat and referral customers. In addition to serving drivers by providing them with quality cars at affordable prices, D&M Leasing also makes a habit of giving back to the community. The company supports a number of charitable organizations, including the Make-a-Wish Foundation of America, Special Olympics, and Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Recently, the company was recognized for its contributions to Score a Goal in the Classroom, a program that motivates students to stay in school and concentrate on their studies.
