Dore Program
Overview
The
Dore Program provides a unique method to enhance the efficiency of
individuals’ brains in order to overcome learning difficulties. Based
upon extensive scientific research, the Dore Program directly targets
the root of learning issues in order to achieve lasting, meaningful
results. People who benefit from the program include individuals
suffering from dyslexia, dyspraxia, Asperger’s syndrome, and ADHD.
Currently, the Dore Program operates out of special Dore Centers in both
the United States and the United Kingdom. For all participants, the
program focuses on enhancing the efficiency of the cerebellum, the
brain’s skills center. This is achieved solely through guided regimens
of physical exercise, such as balancing and juggling routines.
Individual exercise drills must be performed in two daily 10-minute
sessions at home. Completely based on physical exercise, the program is
drug-free. The science behind the Dore Program approach indicates that
the correct stimulation to the cerebellum directly impacts an
individual’s capacity to learn and develop new skills.
Generally, the
program lasts between 9 to 18 months; depending on a participant’s rate
of progress, up to 24 months. Each participant accesses their daily
exercises via the myDore online system, which provides support and
guidance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The skilled Coaches and
Specialists at the Dore Centers also provide periodic assessments and
progress charting, which accurately gauge the participant’s success thus
far.
Once the program is complete, the exercises are no longer
necessary, as the new skills acquired remain stable. Improvements
include enhanced reading and writing ability, superior concentration and
speed of thought, and better coordination.
