when it comes to helping members achieve their fitness objectives, the
Frederick Athletic Club promises a unique experience that is a step

to be well kept and feature state-of-the-art equipment. Each member is
also granted two free passes for guests, one free meeting with a
personal trainer, childcare, exercise classes, and locker rooms equipped
with both a sauna and a steam room. Founded by Jeffrey Neuman and
designed by the architecture firm Parker Cade and Large, Frederick
Athletic Club unlocked its doors for the first time in 2000. In addition
to stellar facilities, Frederick Athletic Club offers over 55 group
fitness classes, including the Latin dance-exercise sensation Zumba, the
power-lifting class Bodypump, Cycle, Pilates, and more. The club
currently uses two exercise studios, as well as a sports gymnasium.
Fulfilling its philanthropic duties, Frederick Athletic Club often hosts
charitable events for the American National Red Cross, such as blood
drives. In 2010, the club hosted three separate blood drives in
December, October, and July, and is currently planning more for 2011.
