in North Carolina, Furnitureland South offers an extensive selection of
quality home furnishings. With over a million square feet of showrooms
dedicated to displaying furniture pieces and accessories, Furnitureland
South carries a diverse inventory of furnishings that vary in style from
traditional to modern. Established more than 40 years ago,
Furnitureland South continues to offer local residents and international
visitors a vast collection of designer pieces with personalized
customer service.
In
April 2011, Furnitureland South collaborated with Paula Deen, cookbook
author and renowned Food Network Television personality, to host an
event in the store’s Showroom Design Center. In addition to discussing
her life and success with the audience, she promoted her new home
furnishings collection, Paula Deen Home. The collection, manufactured by
Universal Furniture, can be seen on display at Furnitureland South. The
event included a chance for guests to win selected pieces such as the
Drawer End Table or Lamp Table from the Paula Deen Home collection.
Founded
by Darrell and Stella Harris in 1969, Furnitureland South differs from
other home furnishing stores by regarding customer service and
experience as its top priorities. Striving to offer high-quality,
stylistically diverse furniture, Furnitureland South implements
personalized customer service to enhance its visitors’ experiences. Upon
arriving, customers can meet with a Design Consultant who will help
guide them through the best shopping strategy to meet their home design
needs. If customers are unable to visit the store, Furnitureland South’s
Design Consultants are available over the phone and by e-mail. The
website provides customer access to a large sample of inventory, which
is organized by manufacturer, collection, price or room. Additionally,
Furnitureland South provides detailed manufacturer information for its
many pieces.
