Granello Bakery
Overview
For nearly 15 years,
Granello Bakery has delivered fresh baked goods to a wide range of
clientele throughout Las Vegas, Nevada. Hailing from San Francisco,
California, Laurie Steed moved to Las Vegas in 1996 and established her
catering business, Granello Bakery. Recognized for its food and
services, Granello Bakery has received awards from the local community.
Providing restaurants, coffee shops, casinos, and food outlets
throughout the bustling city of Las Vegas, Granello Bakery distributes
about 90,000 items per day. Granello Bakery boasts a menu of around 700
baked goods, including dozens of pastries, cookies, desserts, and
breads. Granello Bakery’s pastry menu consists of danishes, muffins,
coffee cakes, croissants, and scones. Clients in need of cakes can
select from Granello Bakery’s enormous assortment, such as half- and
full-sheet tiramisu, St. Honoré, and raspberry chocolate cakes, among
others. Additionally, Granello Bakery presents several tarts and pies
made to order. Breads baked by Granello Bakery range from country breads
and baguettes to rustic rolls and bagels. Granello Bakery’s full line
of bread and pastries contains no trans fats or hydrogenated fats. A
decade after commencing operations, Laurie Steed moved Granello Bakery
from its original location, a 14,000 square-foot premises, to a much
larger, 42,000 square-foot building in southwestern Las Vegas. Less than
a month before making the move, the old location caught fire and burned
down. No one was injured in the fire, and Granello Bakery bounced back,
resuming business mere weeks later. Although the accident set back its
clients’ business as well, Granello Bakery’s customers remained loyal,
working to help Laurie Steed and her staff get back on their feet.
Granello Bakery has twice earned designation as Best Bakery in the Las
Vegas Review-Journal Staff Poll.
