HRC Fertility
Overview
Infertility is a relatively common problem faced by roughly 11 percent
of couples of reproductive age, but due in large part to treatments and
technologies pioneered by Southern California’s Huntington Reproductive
Center, more than 80 percent of those couples will eventually conceive.
Founded in 1988, Huntington Reproductive Center constructed a
state-of-the-art embryology laboratory that has been at the forefront of
fertility technology ever since. HRC Fertility has seven clinics
throughout Southern California, where dedicated teams of support
personnel, counselors, embryologists, nurses, laboratory technicians,
and some of the country’s preeminent reproductive endocrinology
specialists work together to help couples start families. The physicians
at Huntington Reproductive Center strive to provide personalized care
for every patient, focusing on maintaining the highest medical and
ethical standards while producing overwhelmingly successful results.
Every day, the 11 Huntington Reproductive Center doctors meet to discuss
each of their cases, drawing on their collective experience to
determine the precise cause of each couple’s fertility problems before
prescribing the appropriate course of treatment for each patient. HRC
Fertility treatments range from simple, over-the-counter fertility drugs
to advanced procedures, such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in
vitro fertilization (IVF). Huntington Reproductive Center also possesses
one of the world’s foremost Third Party Reproductive Programs, leading
the way in egg donation and gestational surrogacy. In addition to its
egg donation program, Huntington Reproductive Center works with a
licensed nonpartisan adoption agency, Christian Adoption & Family
Services (CAFS), to provide patients with an embryo adoption program.
The Snowflakes embryo adoption program allows donors to participate in
the process of determining who receives their embryos. To ensure
patients understand their treatment and cost options, Huntington
Reproductive Center provides financing and counseling to couples
preparing to begin fertility treatments. HRC Fertility counselors review
insurance information with patients and look for legal ways to maximize
whatever benefits exist. Huntington Reproductive Center created the
Hope Patient Resource Guide, an informative publication that covers
every step in the fertility treatment process. The Huntington
Reproductive Center website, Havingbabies.com, also serves as a valuable
resource to future parents.
