Overview
Fashion company Jill Milan offers a range of Italian-made luxury handbags and fashion accessories, including the elegant Venezia Gondola Clutch and the signature Thoroughbred Bag. The Jill Milan collection features brass hardware handmade by an artisan who worked for Bulgari and custom-made beads from Murano, Italy. The signature piece of the Spring and Summer 2011 Jill Milan collection, the Thoroughbred Bag features an eye-catching handmade silver horse head and comes in bright beige cotton or dark brown faux leather.
All Jill Milan products are leather-free, and the company supports animal welfare by contributing a portion of sales of the Thoroughbred Bag to charities that rescue retired racehorses from slaughter or abuse. In March the company co-sponsored The 25th Anniversary Genesis Awards in Los Angeles, which pays tribute to the major news and entertainment media for producing outstanding works that raise public awareness of animal issues, and which this year recognized Sex and the City star Kristin Davis and The Colbert Report for efforts in animal advocacy.
