Founded by Dr. Hieu Huynh, Katy
Dental assists patients at its state-of-the-art facility located in Katy,
Texas. The primary practicing dentists at Katy Dental are Dr. Amy Luedemann and
Dr. Bill Patel. A board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Luedemann brings a
wealth of experience to Katy Dental. She has worked with children who have
special healthcare conditions, such as autism, Down syndrome, sickle cell
disease, cerebral palsy, and cancer. Before coming to Katy Dental, she worked
at Seattle Children’s Hospital (formerly the Children’s Hospital and Regional
Medical Center in Seattle), one of the top 10 children’s hospitals in the
United States. In addition, Dr. Luedemann taught at the University of
Washington.
Dr. Patel also brings a diversity of
experience to the offices of Katy Dental. He specializes in endodontics,
cosmetics, and dental implants at Katy Dental, and he remains committed to
developing a comprehensive understanding of patients’ needs. Additionally, Dr.
Patel strives to keep Katy Dental up to date with the latest in dental
technology by attending continuing education courses. Dr. Patel received his Doctor
of Dental Surgery from the UT Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School,
and he holds membership in American Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental
Society, Texas Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry.
The team at Katy Dental remains
committed to ensuring that its patients receive care in a safe and comfortable
environment. Katy Dental uses distilled water (bottled water) rather than tap
water in order to prevent contamination. The sterilization equipment used at
Katy Dental also goes beyond the standards set by Occupational Safety &
Health Administration (OSHA). In addition to general and cosmetic dental
services, Katy Dental offers patients services related to periodontics, implant
dentistry, and endodontics (root canal treatments). The professionals at Katy
Dental also provide services and procedures like diagnostic care, preventive
treatment, orthodontic procedures, oral surgery, and jaw joint treatment.
