While in the process of earning this degree, Thomas Hart completed a total of 60 hours of courses pertaining to the practices of marketing and business financing, and also completed a curriculum approved and sponsored by the New Jersey chapter of the American Savings and Loan Institute, which required the completion of more than 18 courses related to the workings of financial institutions. Thomas Hart later matriculated at Indiana University, where he received his Master of Science in Finance.
