Landress Auto Wrecking
Overview
Established in 1956, Landress Auto Wrecking is a third-generation
family business that offers quality services in the tri-state region of
Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. Landress Auto Wrecking provides customers
with tested used automobile parts, shipping through a fleet of
dedicated delivery vehicles. Wholesale customers include body and
automotive shops, collision centers, tire shops, and car dealerships.
Also known as LAWCO Auto Recyclers, the company takes pride in
delivering to cost-conscious retail customers as well. In addition to
delivering parts to these savvy ?do-it-yourself? shoppers, Landress Auto
Wrecking assists individuals in locating qualified repair technicians.
Landress Auto Wrecking?s inventory consists exclusively of insurance
salvage, acquired either at insurance salvage auctions or from the
insurance companies themselves. The company?s purchase process ensures
that all parts came from standard, running vehicles. All sourced
vehicles are transported to the LAWCO Auto Recycler facilities, where
they undergo a thorough dismantling operation. Before removal from the
vehicle, all drivetrain components are retested, giving an additional
assurance of the part?s working condition.
As it is impossible to remove all car components, Landress Auto
Wrecking transports vehicles from the dismantling facility to an on-site
location where large parts such as fenders and doors can be harvested
as needed. A 6,000-square-foot warehouse is stocked daily with parts as
they are processed and used to stage shipments and delivery. This
integrated system provides a manageable daily flow of inventory.
LAWCO Auto Recycler holds membership in a number of professional
organizations, including the Automotive Recyclers Association and the
Better Business Bureau. Landress Auto Wrecking President Elliott Sharon
is distinguished as one of the Florida Auto Dismantler Recycler
Association?s founding members.
