Overview
An
Adjunct Professor at Spring Arbor University in Dearborn, Michigan, Dr. Bernie
Raudszus implements curriculum, teaches classes and seminars, and provides
in-depth practice formats to classes traditionally consisting of 15 to 25
students. In this role, Dr. Bernie Raudszus instructs courses, including
Counseling Theory in a Multi-Cultural Context, Assessment and Testing, Abnormal
Psychology, Legal Issues and Ethics in Counseling, and Research in Counseling,
among others. Dr. Bernie Raudszus also directs students in undertaking research
projects, experimental assays, practice protocols, and research strategies. Dr.
Bernie Raudszus also develops peer learning environments through research
projects, which are later used in peer teaching and presentations at Spring
Arbor University.
A
licensed professional counselor and licensed psychologist, Dr. Bernie Raudszus
supervises the Living Well Counseling Center. As the founder and Director of
Living Well Counseling Center based in Plymouth, Michigan, Bernie Raudszus
manages a high-volume mental counseling firm, applying more than 30 years of
experience. At Living Well Counseling Center, Dr. Bernie Raudszus coordinates
various clinical and administrative functions. He also overseees psychological
services at every level of Living Well Counseling Center. At Living Well
Counseling Center, Dr. Bernie Raudszus primarily counsels patients, builds and
maintains a growing clientele via referrals, and interacts with a wide range of
medical professionals to monitor the behavior of the center’s clients. In
addition, Dr. Bernie Raudszus proactively works with community agencies and
private firms on clients’ individual cases and keeps them abreast of available
mental health programs.
At
Living Well Counseling Center, Dr. Bernie Raudszus aims to assist men and woman
of all ages in dealing effectively with their psychological obstacles caused by
myriad mental ailments, including depression, eating disorders, drugs, alcohol
and other addictions, among others. Dr. Bernie Raudszus received a Master of
Arts in Pastoral Counseling from the Ashland Seminary. Furthering his
education, he received a Doctor of Philosophy with a multidisciplinary approach
and an emphasis on clinical psychology from the Union Institute and University
in Cincinnati. Actively involved in his community, Dr. Bernie Raudszus
conducted search and rescue missions in Montana as a member of the Civic Air
Patrol and served as a chaplain for the jail ministry. A charitable individual,
Dr. Bernie Raudszus donates his time as a teacher at his local church.
