James
Maloney, Jr., President of Maloney Real Estate, is a lifelong resident of the
Chicago area. Licensed as a real estate broker in Illinois, James Maloney, Jr.,
has overseen the daily operations of Maloney Real Estate for over 16 years.
Before assuming his father’s position as head of Maloney Real Estate, James
Maloney, Jr., worked in the municipal bond market as an institutional bond
salesman. After positions with Norwest Securities and Blunt Ellis & Loewi
Incorporated, he allowed his financial brokerage license expire in good standing
and joined Maloney Real Estate in 1993.
When
his father retired in 1995, James Maloney, Jr., assumed control of and
incorporated the family firm. Today, Maloney Real Estate, Inc.’s team continues
to manage properties and oversee light developments around Chicago and the
surrounding suburbs. Currently managing nearly 140 units, Maloney Real Estate’s
staff takes pride in its ability to offer customer service and personal
attention less likely to be provided by larger companies. With extended family
ties to the city, James Maloney, Jr., and his father graduated from Loyola
Academy in Wilmette.
In
preparation for his responsibilities with Maloney Real Estate, the son attended
St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree
in finance. As a fixture in his local community, James Maloney, Jr., has lived
in the same house for over 20 years. When not incrementally expanding Maloney
Real Estate, he enjoys performing various acts of community service and
spending time with his family.
