Morgan Drexen
Overview
Morgan Drexen provides integrated legal software and paralegal services to attorneys across America. The Company serves a network of attorneys who work with near bankrupt or bankrupt consumers. The highly-automated IT systems for complex documentation use competent, well- trained and supervised paraprofessionals and administrative personnel in a single location. This allows for improved productivity, efficiency and affordability of attorneys’ legal services. Morgan Drexen deploys state of the art software sub structures that incorporate proprietary enterprise solution programs with automated document management. The technologically innovative approach enables attorneys to spend more productive time with their clients and less time handling routine paperwork. The primary goal of the attorney network is preventative bankruptcy. By engaging the attorneys supported by Morgan Drexen, law firm clients have the opportunity to be protected by a two-tiered debt resolution program. Preventative bankruptcy and the paralleled service of the formal chapter 7 debt resolution compliment and reinforce each other. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has enacted a new rule that regulates debt settlement. Although it is unclear at this time whether or not the FTC has the authority to govern the practice of law, it is the intention of the law firms as well as Morgan Drexen, to make certain that all services and support operations comply fully with the new rule or are exempt from its application. Morgan Drexen prides itself on providing training for all their employees. In fact, 2010 saw another 22 employees graduate as paralegals from the California State University at Monterey Bay as part of the Center for Legal Studies. Morgan Drexen is also very proud to be a part of the wonderful work carried out by the Make-A-Wish Foundation ® as we founded our new partnership to raise money for children in need.
