The recipient of an Associate’s degree in Nursing from Boise State University, Corky Rockwell has been both a senior consultant in the medical industry and a nursing director. Until August of this year, Corky Rockwell was Director of Nursing at The Heritage, a skilled nursing retirement facility based in San Francisco. Corky Rockwell conceived and implemented new policies to serve The Heritage’s residents and per diem patients more effectively while managing a nursing staff. Corky Rockwell also kept The Heritage in compliance with all Title 22 regulations.

Prior to her time at The Heritage, Corky Rockwell held the post of Senior Consultant at HFS Consulting in Oakland, a diversified healthcare firm. Corky Rockwell assisted HFS Consulting in achieving its mission of integrating vital medical management services with industry-leading consulting.

Corky Rockwell currently resides in Sacramento, California, where she enjoys sailing. A passionate traveler, Corky Rockwell visited China in 2008 and adventured along the Great Wall. Corky Rockwell lists Alan Watts’ The Way of Zen as one of her favorite books.
