Owner of Curtis Sharp Homes43, Dallas, TexasOperating as the owner and President of Curtis Sharp Homes, in the Dallas, Texas area, since 2005, Curtis Sharp provides Texas homeowners with the finest selection of high-end homes and custom remodels. As a trusted homebuilder for 34 years, Mr. Sharp is behind the creation of more than 350 custom homes. His duties range from site selection and floor plan design to custom cabinet creation, interior finish-out, and everything in between. Sharp’s entry in the 2007 Parade of Homes, sponsored by the Homebuilders Association of Dallas, was chosen as the home with the best front elevation and the best floor plan. That home was also the first of the Parade homes to sell. In addition to new home construction and high-end remodels, Curtis Sharp Homes also offers custom-made cabinets. When Sharp could not find a cabinet company that offered the custom design, superior production and quality finish that he demanded for his projects, he opened his own cabinet shop. Now each cabinet installed in one of Sharp’s projects is designed, manufactured, finished and installed to his exact specifications. The shop also builds cabinets for other homebuilders and remodelers, as well as individuals who just want something like an entertainment center, linen cabinets in the bathrooms or a kitchen island. Prior to moving to Dallas and founding Curtis Sharp Homes, Sharp built homes in the prestigious neighborhoods of Austin such as Barton Creek, Onion Creek, Westlake, Forest Hills, and Cimarron Hills. In 1998, a home Sharp built in Barton Creek was one of the Symphony Showcase Homes and was awarded Best Floor plan and Best Front Elevation. In 2002, Sharp created a home for the Greater Austin Area Homebuilders Association Parade of Homes in Cimarron Hills. The 7,000-square-foot home was chosen as the home with the Best Kitchen, the Best Front Elevation and the Best Master Bath. After the parade, the home was purchased by Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan. When not involved in his own construction ventures, Sharp has served as an On-Site Sales Consultant for Bill Milburn Homes in Austin, Texas. During his tenure, he closed more than 127 homes for the privately held production builder and was named Salesperson of the Month seven times in a two-year period. Mr. Sharp also garnered the New Salesman of the Year award in 1993. Currently residing in Frisco, Texas, Curtis Sharp possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. Curtis Sharp's Links |
