About Damion McIntosh

National Football League Offensive Tackle Damion McIntosh was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and began his football career at McArthur High School in Hollywood, Florida. During his senior season, Damian McIntosh was named to the Class 5A All-State football first team. Excelling in a state where for high school football is notoriously competitive, Damion McIntosh earned a scholarship to play collegiate football at Kansas State University in 1995.

During his five years at Kansas State University, Damion McIntosh and the Wildcats participated in a bowl game every season. During the 1998 season, the Wildcats also won the Big XII North Division. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a minor in Business, Damion McIntosh declared himself eligible for the NFL draft.

In 2000, the San Diego Chargers selected Damion McIntosh with the 83rd pick in the third round. After starting in 37 out of 41 games for the Chargers in four seasons, Damion McIntosh returned to his home state of Florida. In March 2004, he signed with the Miami Dolphins. After playing three seasons with the Miami Dolphins, Damion McIntosh joined the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007. Starting in 31 games in two seasons, the Seattle Seahawks offered Damion McIntosh a contract in 2009.

Off the field, Damion McIntosh enjoys movies, dogs, comedy shows, and fast cars. Traveling to foreign counties is also one of his favorite hobbies.
