In 2010, President of New York’s Adria Industrial Piping Ltd. Damjan Stanivukovic relocated the company headquarters from its original office in Brooklyn to Maspeth, a neighborhood of Queens. Stanivukovic moved the family-owned business to a larger space—a one-story unit with 7,700 square feet—to provide additional space for the company that has continued to grow under his leadership. Stanivukovic has been an integral part of the company since 2000, and since his father’s death, has become the primary shareholder. Along with his two brothers-in-law, Damjan Stanivukovic manages the daily operations as well as project estimations and drafting. He also oversees onsite employees and maintains customer relations.

Through Adria Industrial Piping, Stanivukovic employs a knowledgeable group of certified welders and mechanics who perform pipe work for heating, refrigeration, cooling, and high-pressure steam systems. The firm enjoys numerous professional affiliations with contracting firms all over New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey, including ERS Systems, Inc., Henick-Lane, Inc, and React Industries Inc. Damjan Stanivukovic also maintains the company’s working relationships with firms such as Crossland Mechanical Inc., Harbour Mechanical Corporation, and The Sweet Construction Group. Adria Industrial Piping has proudly served clients for more than 20 years.

Damjan Stanivukovic attended Bergen Community College and then accepted a job with Alfa Mechanical Co. where he worked for several years as a union steamfitter. Stanivukovic enjoys giving back to the community and has contributed to The Brooklyn Museum and St. John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church in Paterson, New Jersey. Stanivukovic also supports nonprofit organizations such as Seva Foundation, which provides cataract surgery for people in poor countries around the world, and HELP USA, a group that assists people who are homeless or otherwise in need of assistance to achieve self reliance.
