Wielding more than 15 years of professional leadership experience, Dan Morgan directs investment operations as Vice President of Finance at Force10 Networks. Dan Morgan specializes in financial planning and analysis, providing management and support to the Research and Development, Sales, Service, Manufacturing, and Marketing departments. As an executive with the technology infrastructure company, Dan Morgan responds to all financial strategic planning initiatives. Dan Morgan’s executive operations responsibilities include overseeing Force10’s strategic planning process, as well as running risk management, treasury, and investor relations. Dan Morgan demonstrates considerable skill in financial planning, enabling Force10 to cost-effectively deliver its services from converged networks to mobile businesses. In the past year, Dan Morgan has modeled, measured and implemented accurate financial statements for Force10. Dan Morgan also spearheaded efforts to decrease company spending, which resulted in a reduction of more than $70 million annualized. Providing a vital part of Force10’s Oracle merger implementation, Dan Morgan designed the performance management system. Prior to his position with Force10, Dan Morgan took on several roles at JDSU, including Global Sales Controller, Mergers and Acquisition & Strategic Planning Financier, and Controller Global Operations. Dan Morgan attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage, where he studied Business Administration and Accounting. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Dan Morgan entered the finance field. Concurrent with his work with Force10, Dan Morgan is pursuing his Master of Business Administration from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University. Additionally, Dan Morgan holds membership in APICS, the Association for Operations Management, and IMA, the Institute of Management Accountants.
