Recent Iowa State University graduate Dana Elizabeth Van Woert possesses a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. Dedicating time and effort to a variety of activities with the university’s College of Design and Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication, Dana Elizabeth Van Woert participated in numerous design exhibitions and competitions. Noted for her logo work, she won the Award of Excellence in Identity from the Art Directors Association of Iowa as part of that organization’s juried student exhibition in 2011. In 2010, Dana Elizabeth Van Woert lived and studied abroad through Iowa State’s Rome Program. The work she produced while living in Italy was displayed for three months at the university’s College of Design in Gallery 181. Providing print and web design services, Dana Van Woert has worked as a Graphic Designer for Iowa State’s Greenlee Glimpse magazine and Meredith Corporation.

In 2009, Dana Elizabeth Van Woert joined the Meredith team as a Graphic Design apprentice. Working for the company’s Traditional Home Magazine, Dana Van Woert helped to implement smartphone barcode technology in the magazine, a project intended to drive traffic to the publication’s website. Dana Van Woert also designed and organized content and production of the magazine’s Marketplace section. She collaborated with other creative professionals in Meredith’s New York City charity installation, assisting in the selection of appropriate furniture and décor.
