President and CEO Norfolk Financial CorpNeedham, MassachusettsDaniel Goldstone has been involved in the areas of commercial and consumer collections for most of his career and is the founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Norfolk Financial Corp. Daniel Goldstone’s company, Norfolk Financial Corp., buys charged-off consumer debt from banks, lending institutions, and other companies that extend credit, and then collects debts, generally, by placing accounts with well-trained, professional, and courteous collection professionals. Throughout his career, Daniel Goldstone has witnessed the pain and stress resulting from American consumers’ financial mismanagement and financial illiteracy, particularly the American youth. With his awareness of the problems that many American consumers have in managing debt, Daniel Goldstone is extremely interested in improving financial literacy in the American population, especially its young people. He knows that good financial habits and financial literacy must be instilled from an early age to prevent unfortunate problems later in life involving big credit transactions. As part of this effort, Daniel Goldstone has started and supported the website www.letstalkaboutdebt.org and works as a volunteer for the “Banking on Our Future” program administered by Operation Hope. In addition to his philanthropic work on financial education, Daniel Goldstone is active in local theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. He has both sponsored and starred in musical theatrical performances. Daniel Goldstone most recently acted in the role of Daddy Warbucks in a production of Annie at the Little Theatre of Stoughton in its 54th season, also providing funding for the play, and played Amos Hart in “Chicago” at the Quannapowit Playhouse in Reading, Massachusetts.
