Daniel Hennelly has made his mark on the tire industry as former President of Tires Plus Total Car Care and current Chief Executive Officer of Hennelly Tire & Auto, Inc. (doing business as The Tire Choice & Total Car Care). With Hennelly Tire & Auto, where he began working in 2002, Daniel Hennelly continues to promote an ambitious growth strategy that includes opening numerous new store locations each year. A seasoned professional, he previously applied this model to his work at Tires Plus, where he served as District Manager and Vice President before assuming the role of President. As a testament to his results-driven work ethic, Tires Plus experienced exponential growth during his time with the company, which increased its stores from 35 to more than 600. Furthermore, Tires Plus became the second largest holder of market share in the state of Florida and the largest provider in Broward County. Daniel Hennelly is also credited with creating a marketable and unified brand for Tires Plus, a skill he brings with him to his position at Hennelly Tire & Auto.

Driven by his convictions, Daniel Hennelly believes strongly in providing quality customer service and continually striving for the best. He also holds higher management accountable for the macro and micromanagement of company affairs. As a leader, he continues to demonstrate the values of hard work, determination, and discipline in action.

In his free time, Daniel Hennelly enjoys a wide range of activities. A lover of active pastimes, he likes to work out, fish, and play golf. He also enjoys watching sports and supporting his local Miami basketball, hockey, and football teams. A fan of music greats like Garth Brooks, Boston, Journey, and The Eagles, Daniel Hennelly enjoys attending live music concerts in his local area. He is also an avid traveler and has journeyed to Europe, South America, and around the continental United States.

    As the CEO of The Tire Choice & Total Car Care, I spend a lot of time finding ways to help the company succeed. Over our nine years in business and my previous years in the tire industry, I have developed a firm philosophy about the best way to run a tire shop, and it shows in everything we do at the company. Here are some of the keys of that philosophy.

    1. Do the Right Thing

    Doing the right thing means treating employees well, treating customers well, and always making sure that the management of the company takes an active role in its operations. One of the ways we do that at The Tire Choice & Total Car Care is by employing the best people and offering the highest quality products available. Our managers are coached to do whatever it takes to keep customers satisfied, our tire professionals are ASE certified, and we stock only the best name-brand tires.

    2. Challenge Management

    It can be tempting for managers to relax with success, but one of the best ways to ensure a company’s health is to constantly push its higher-level employees to become better business people. Managers need balance in their lives, but part of being a leader in a company means setting an example of determination and hard work for other employees.

    3. Work Hard

    I like to say that hard work never hurt anyone, and at The Tire Choice & Total Car Care, we work hard. In only nine years, we have expanded into more than 30 locations, and in addition to our day-to-day operations, we consistently update a blog and learning center on our website to keep customers educated about automotive issues and interested in coming back to us.
