A proven leader with years of experience building start-ups to success and profitability, David Aronica currently employs his talents as the Director of Global Education Design & Development for VMware in Palo Alto, California. In his five years at VMware, David Aronica has played a critical role in building the company to its current position as the world’s leading provider of virtualization technologies, including cloud computing and virtual networking and security. David Aronica came to VMware in 2004 as the Senior Manager of Sales & Technical Field Readiness. In this role, David Aronica held responsibility for the education and enablement of VMware’s direct sales force through the creation and strategic disbursement of training materials. David Aronica next served as the Director of Partner Enablement & Field Readiness, where he continued working on developing education and training initiatives, this time for VMware’s extensive network of partners. In his current position, David Aronica manages the design and development of education curricula for all of VMware’s target audiences, including the company’s direct sales force, corporate partners, and customers. David Aronica began his career in sales and business development after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. David Aronica’s first position was as a Corporate Account Manager for The Sales Board, a sales and marketing training company. David Aronica next joined the staff of Ornetix Network Products, where he served as a Regional Sales Manager. After leaving Ornetix, David Aronica enrolled in the MBA program at Cornell University. After earning his MBA, David Aronica joined Sun Microsystems, where he held multiple positions, including Senior Business Development Manager and Senior Product Manager.
