David Cancel is the co-founder and former CTO of Compete, Inc, a Boston-based web analytics company. Before Compete David was the CTO of BuyerZone.com, now a part of Reed Elsevier [NYSE: RUK]. In the late 90’s, he was a part of the founding team at Bolt.com, now part of GoFish [OTCBB: GOFH] and part of Lycos.com. David is originally from New York City and now lives in the Boston, MA area with his wife and daughter.
