David is currently the Director of Corporate Development at Shutterstock, the world’s largest subscription-based digital stock photography agency. Prior to Shutterstock, he was an Analyst at Insight Venture Partners, a $3 billion software and Internet focused venture capital firm based in New York. David is a Co-Founder of LendforPeace.org, a not-for-profit internet platform that allows individuals to lend to specific micro-entrepreneurs in the West Bank. The LendforPeace mission is to use micro-lending to promote economic opportunity and political stability in the Middle East.

David graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied Economics and Political Science. His family’s experience as Cuban and Jewish immigrants to the US and his academic study of economics have inspired in him a profound respect for the market’s power to create social capital and to solve social problems. This has led David to pursue a career in growth finance, technology and social entrepreneurship.
