David A. Hubbard graduated from Southeast Area Vocational Technical School (“SEAVTS” now Southeast Technical Institute or “STI”) in Advertising Design. Mr. Hubbard entered into the world of advertising and marketing by working at KDLT-TV in Mitchell, SD.

Mr. Hubbard left broadcasting to fulfill his government service as a US Army Paratrooper where he distinguished himself as an Infantry Soldier with the 82nd Airborne Division.

Mr. Hubbard Returned to broadcasting after a parachuting injury forced him to retire from the military. David worked as a videographer, director, and editor at KOTA-TV in Rapid City, SD.

Later, David left KOTA-TV to work as the facilities manager of West River Video Production in Rapid City, SD. Eventually Mr. Hubbard applied his knowledge of visual arts to the internet, where he eventually moved to Sioux Falls, SD and began working at BankFirst as the Project Manager of Internet Initiatives.

When the bank shifted its focus on Prepaid Card Products, David was asked to join a small team of peers to establish the BankFirst Payments Systems department.

Eventually, Mr. Hubbard left BankFirst to work for TranSend in Mason, OH where he was an Implementation and Compliance Manager.

Mr. Hubbard started the Hubbard Genesis Corporation and consults businesses regarding Association Rules and Regulatory Requirements for the Prepaid Card Industry. Currently Mr. Hubbard is working as a consultant for International Processing & Fulfillment, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ establishing a new Third-Party Processor of Prepaid MasterCard Cards.

Mr. Hubbard has also been busy assisting his children in the development of their own companies. David’s oldest son, Corey W. Hubbard, has begun setting up Hubbard Development Corporation, a commercial and residential development company. While David’s youngest child, Ashley Hubbard, has been recently announced as the President of Apocalypse Entertainment, Inc. of Sioux Falls, SD. Soon, David’s youngest son, Joseph D. Hubbard, will be heading up the Hubbard Technologies division of Hubbard Genesis Corporation.

Aside from his duties at Hubbard Genesis Corporation, Mr. Hubbard also owns and manages an aerospace company with his brothers, Douglas W. Hubbard and Daniel B. Hubbard. David is also the CTO for Hubbard Aerospace, LLC, Hubbard Decision Research, HowtoMeasureAnything.com, and UnCalibratedRisk.com.

    David attended SEAVTS for one year and earned a Certificate of Graduation. While attending, Mr. Hubbard was privileged to study under independent filmmaker Jimmy Unzicker, who instructed David in the art of Videography and Cinematography. SEAVTS is now Southeast Technical Institute (STI) of Sioux Falls, SD.

  • Transcend LLC 2004 - 2006 - Mason, Ohio
    Implementation/Compliance Manager
    While at Transcned LLC (TranSend), Mr. Hubbard acted as an Implementation Manager, Comlpiance Manager, and Money Transmitter Co-ordinator. Hr. Hubbard acted as TranSend's representative with the Network Branded Prepaid Card Association (NBPCA) and helped to define the BSA/AML standards currently used by the association and some of its members.

    Mr. Hubbard is a Manager of Hubbard Aerospace, LLC and assists with developing proposals for various U.S. Government Small Business Innovation and Research Grants.
  • BankFirst 1999 - 2004 - Sioux Falls, South Dakota
    Implementation/Compliance Manager
    Mr. Hubbard first joined BankFirst to assist in the set-up and development of the bank's Internet initiative. Eventually he worked in the bank's Prepaid Services Department, helping to establish Flexible Spending Account Card Programs and some of the first Prepaid Card Programs in the nation.

    David joined KOTA-TV after medically retiring from the US Army. Mr. Hubbard acted as the Commercial Director, editor, and videographer for the station. David also worked as the videographer for live broadcasts and captured footage of the Custer State Park Fire and teh Westberry Trail Fire, which were broadcast nationally. David's journies took him from the deepest caves under the Black Hills to the very top of Mount Rushmore and Crazyhorse Mountain.
  • US Army 1985 - 1987 - Ft. Bragg, North Carolina
    Airborne Infantry Paratrooper
    David was an Airborne Infantry Paratrooper with the 504 Parachute Infantry Regiment. He received two Army Achievement Medals in as many years and was qualified as an expert marksman in all of the NATO hand-held weapons. David also served as the S-3 Operations Assistant and distinguished himself as a member of the Tactical Operations Center and was crucial in stopping a maneuver that may have placed the lives of 1,500 service members at risk, earning him his second Army Achievement Medal.
