The Founder and President of Mrs. America Inc. and Mrs. World Inc., David Marmel takes pride in his philanthropic pursuits, utilizing his prominent position in the entertainment industry to support a wide array of local and national charitable organizations. Currently applying his talents as the Executive Producer of the Mrs. America and Mrs. World Pageants, David Marmel also devotes a considerable portion of his time and energy toward re-launching the Victor Awards, an annual television special that honors the best and brightest athletic stars of today.

David Marmel created the Victor Awards more than four decades ago, the first of his many professional accomplishments. Placing the Victor Awards on a five-year hiatus while he focused on the Mrs. America and Mrs. World Pageants, David Marmel looks forward to breathing new life into the popular awards show. Still in the process of defining the specifics of the Victor Awards re-launch, David Marmel aims to employ the program as a tribute to the men and women who bravely sacrifice to serve their country as members of the United States Military. Prior to establishing himself as a leader in the field of televised entertainment, David Marmel completed a tour of duty for the U.S. Army, undertaking tenure as a commissioned officer stationed in Germany.

Aside from the effort he dedicates to the freshly realized Victor Awards, David Marmel utilizes his personal resources to support a wide variety of commendable causes. The former C.E.O. of the United States Olympic Committee’s Entertainment & Special Events division, David Marmel proudly donates to the Special Olympics. Mr. Marmel also assists in funding the activities of the American Diabetes Association, the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and City of Hope, a cancer treatment center located in Los Angeles, California.

    Creator - CEO of both Mrs America and Mrs World Pageants Executive Producer of television Specials. Organize and manage all aspects of both corporations while overseeing total creative and production elements of both competitions. Negotiate all related deals. Created the first competitions for Married Women when all other then existing pageants excluded the married woman. Created and continue to serve as the Executive Producer of the Victor Awards the Academy Awards of Sports. The Victor Awards preceded the ESPYS by decades and became the longest running Sports Awards Special in the history of television Appointed President and CEO of the United States Olympic Committee Entertainment and Special Events. 1980 - 1984 Summer Games of Los Angeles. Created and served as Executive Producer of the American Black Achievement Awards, 1978 - 1989. Served as a member a member of the national Board of Directors of the City of Hope Medical Center.
