David Wilkinson started his career at the Federal Trade Commission and then he held a Jane Addams Fellowship at Indiana University’s Center on Philanthropy where he served as a lobbyist for Common Cause Indiana. David started FreeRelief.net, a website that channeled corporate dollars to disaster relief efforts. In 2001, he moved to New York to work as executive director of the state’s office of Common Cause focusing on campaign finance reform and urban civic empowerment programs. David is currently attending Yale Law School and spent the summer in Richmond, my hometown, where I worked for Lt. Gov.
