One of Diaa Nour’s greatest passions is athletics, specifically running. He is a lifelong athlete and a skilled runner. Diaa Nour regularly participates in marathons, and he continues to work toward his goal of placing in the top 50 of the Boston Marathon, the world’s oldest annual 26.2-mile race. Diaa Nour also has a natural business acumen, and his endurance and discipline extend beyond athletics into his role as President of the global information technology and telecommunications solutions company, Tot Solutions LLC. Diaa Nour actively seeks to help fellow athletes through his work as a member of the Board of Directors at Athletes Without Limits. Athletes Without Limits, the U.S. chapter of the International Federation for Athletes with an Intellectual Disability, seeks out and assists athletes with intellectual disabilities pursue their goal of taking part in a wide variety of competitions, including premier sporting events. In his work with Tot Solutions LLC, Diaa Nour leads a team of 80 employees in orchestrating and carrying out information technology and telecommunications-related services worldwide. Diaa Nour has worked in a number of countries in the Middle East and Africa, including South Africa and many West African nations. He was recently responsible for negotiating a grant to build fiberoptic links between the government ministries of Burkina Faso. Diaa Nour is presently involved in the SOFISAT telephony project in Egypt, which ranks as the largest public-private partnership in the history of that country. Diaa Nour was raised in Cairo, Egypt, and Lausanne, Switzerland. In 2002, he graduated from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he studied international relations and international economics. He currently works and lives in Washington, D.C.
