Diamond Ranch Academy - Residential Treatment CenterHurricane, UtahDiamond Ranch Academy is a residential treatment center located in Hurricane, Utah. Founded in 1999, the ranch spans more than 200 acres of Utah’s scenic terrain. Serving young adults ages 12 to 18, Diamond Ranch Academy employs early intervention strategies that address critical behavioral issues before they spiral into more serious problems. Adolescents who attend Diamond Ranch Academy may be facing a number of mental or emotional challenges such as poor self-image, negative environments, or substance abuse. These issues can manifest as manipulative behavior, lying, and aggression. Diamond Ranch Academy addresses these challenges with a progressive learning environment that discourages competition and encourages personal growth. Students are allowed to move through the material at a comfortable pace, thereby reducing learning anxiety and increasing opportunities for mastery. After completing tests with a score of 80 percent or better, students move on to the next area of learning. Each student at Diamond Ranch Academy receives therapy from trained professionals who can address their specific challenges. In addition to the educational and behavioral resources available, Diamond Ranch Academy encourages students to take advantage of its unique surroundings. Students participate in enrichment activities such as pottery, music, golf, volleyball, and more. Weekly evaluations ensure student progress and allow Diamond Ranch Academy to address issues and setbacks as they arise. Diamond Ranch Academy stands by its work with a guarantee that once students return home, they will be successful. Diamond Ranch opens its doors at no additional cost in the event that a student continues previous behavior patterns; during the last 10 years, less than 5 percent of graduates have returned to the academy. 1500 East 2700 South |
