A board-certified psychiatrist, Diane Nguyen, DO, welcomes new patients who are interested in actively participating in their own mental health management. Offering treatment to teens and adults ages 16 and up, Dr. Diane Nguyen provides individual therapy sessions, medication management, and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.

Dr. Diane Nguyen understands that age, gender, physical wellbeing, and personal stressors will vary from patient to patient. Therefore, she considers several factors when conducting each new diagnostic consultation. Before deciding on a proper treatment plan, she fosters an open and honest dialogue with each patient and takes into account various biological, social, and spiritual factors that may affect mental health.

Offering a quiet and comfortable atmosphere for a full range of psychiatric services, Dr. Diane Nguyen treats attention deficit disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and numerous mood- and depression-related disorders. In addition to treating anxiety disorders–including acute stress disorder, panic disorder, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder–she also offers psychopharmacology and adjunctive therapy to manage addictions.

Dr. Diane Nguyen graduated from Houston Baptist University and completed her medical degree at the University of North Texas Osteopathic Medical School. After a completing an internship and residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in geriatric psychology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Dr. Nguyen established her private practice in the Lakeway area of Austin, Texas. A member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, she also maintains special certification to administer in-office Suboxone treatments for opiate addiction.
