Dr. Dietmar Hein serves as the Head of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics’ global e-commerce initiatives and is a member of the Board of Directors of Global Healthcare Exchange.
Dr. Dietmar Hein is currently a Board Member at Global Healthcare Exchange and the Head of Global eCommerce at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics. At Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Dr. Dietmar Hein oversees various aspects of global operations. He is tasked with developing, managing, and implementing a worldwide eCommerce Strategy for the firm. Dr. Dietmar Hein is responsible for Customer Inventory Management Solutions, as well as all eCommerce and invoicing functions for the company. Dr. Dietmar Hein grew eCommerce transactions to 700MM EUR, a figure that is over 50% of all eligible transactions. Dietmar Hein successfully integrated three Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems from preceding companies, incorporating eCommerce support in the US as well as three European countries. Dr. Dietmar Hein has prepped GoLive by implementing new administration tools for specific invoicing in the US and German markets. Concurrent with his role at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Dr. Dietmar Hein represents Siemens at the Board of Directors of Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX). As Director of the Board of Directors for the firm, Mr. Dietmar Hein allows Global Healthcare Exchange to leverage its status as the world’s largest electronic marketplace dedicated to healthcare. Dietmar Hein has worked with Global Healthcare Exchange in the area of strategic development, emphasizing his aptitude for the diagnostics industry, as well as establishing a go-to market strategy for European expansion while ensuring maximum market penetration in the US.
