DJuan Bracey is a recent graduate from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service . He has previously worked as a researcher at the Inter-American Dialogue, the Centro de Analise e Planejamento (the Center for Analysis and Planning) in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and in Georgetown’s history department. Most of his research has focused on Brazil.

Bracey graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida at age 20 before attending Georgetown, where he is the youngest graduate fromthe Class of 2010. At USF, Bracey was a participant in the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Scholarship Program, from which he was named the model McNair Scholar upon graduating. In 2007, Bracey presented research on Brazilian racial relations and art movements at the Fifteenth Annual Ronald E. McNair California Scholars Symposium at the University of California, Berkeley. Bracey is also a recipient of the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Aside from his native English, Bracey is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and reads with French with moderate ability.

Among his interests, include history, travel, community service and music.
