Pennsylvania resident Donald Benn is an accomplished criminal investigator with over 30 years of experience in the field.
A former teacher, law enforcement official, and entertainment media professional, Donald Benn commands a broad scope of experience in several sectors of the workforce. Initially pursuing a career in theater, Donald Benn soon switched to investigative services while occasionally immersing himself in other occupational endeavors along the way. Donald Benn’s most recent enterprise has been his involvement in local politics. An alumnus of Pennsylvania-based Temple University, Donald Benn originally started off as a theater major before transitioning to law enforcement studies. Donald Benn graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a teaching credential. During his undergraduate years, Donald Benn also completed courses in criminal justice at Philadelphia Community College, acquiring an Associate degree and participating in the Philadelphia Police Academy’s one-semester program. Immediately after graduating, Donald Benn accepted a teaching position within the School District of Philadelphia. Donald Benn began as a Special Education teacher for both challenged and gifted middle school students, teaching. Conducting the first eight years of his employment in the classroom, Donald Benn spent his final year with the district as an administrator for a truancy reduction program he helped to develop. Donald Benn served as a full-time instructor, teaching full-day classes during his entire tenure. Two years into his teaching career, Donald Benn took a second job as an investigator and enforcement officer for the Philadelphia Adult Probation and Parole Department, working night shifts. After eight years of holding both jobs, Donald Benn left his teaching position when it began conflicting with his probation work. Donald Benn spent another twelve years as an investigator, relinquishing the position when substantial injuries sustained while on the job permanently prevented him from continuing to execute his duties. In later years, Donald Benn served in television production, penned his own screenplays, and wrote a book based on research he conducted on the adult entertainment industry. Donald Benn recently obtained his private detective’s license and launched his own agency, operating out of East Norriton, Pennsylvania. Intrigued by local politics, Donald Benn campaigned for and was elected to the role of Democratic Committee Person in his community. In this position, Donald Benn strives to maintain open communication between community constituents and elected officials.
