A skilled restaurateur and businessman, Mr. Donald Bleau currently works as the President and CEO of Eggspectation Restaurants, LLC. Under Bleau’s direction, Eggspectation Restaurants, founded in 1993 in Montreal, Canada, is in the process of aggressively expanding into markets in the United States and worldwide. With a goal of opening 70 Eggspectation franchises across the U.S. within 5 years and 200 within 10 years, Donald Bleau’s strong managerial expertise will be critical to the company’s success.

Properly managing a restaurant requires a unique skill set. In addition to business acumen, culinary expertise is a must. Donald Bleau is the ideal person to generate the impressive results this twofold training can produce. Earning a marketing and finance-focused MBA from Barry University in 1971, Bleau set out to utilize his newly honed business skills as an extension of the training he received during his time at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Paris, France. At Le Cordon Bleu, Bleau was a recipient of the Grand Diplôme, demonstrating his complete mastery of both culinary and pastry fundamentals.

Beyond his business concerns, Donald Bleau is also a very active member of his community. Bleau supports several charitable organizations including Needle’s Eye Ministries, HABcore of Red Bank and Aslan Youth Ministries. In the course of his involvement with Aslan Youth Ministries, Bleau has been fortunate to take part in mission trips to Haiti where medical supplies and basic building materials are so critically needed. Apart from volunteering, Donald Bleau spends his leisure time golfing, playing tennis and reading. A charter founder of the American Institute of Wine and Food, Bleau is a firm believer in the positive effects of communal dining and enjoys cooking for and entertaining friends and guests whenever he has the chance.
