Dr. Bruce, developer of ETPS Neuropathic Therapy, an inventive approach to chronic pain management combining acupuncture with segmental, dermal, and structural reintegration through myofascial release techniques. Dr. Bruce originally studied Classical Acupuncture with Dr. Al McDowell, a member of the Ontario Association of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. In the fall of 1993, Dr. Bruce studied in Southeast Asia with the famous Prof. A. Jayasuriya for several months where he achieved a Doctorate in Acupuncture. His next trip to Asia in the fall of 1995 resulted in a Master’s Degree in Alternative Medicine (M.D.M.A.). Dr. Bruce went on to be the first non-physician acupuncturist to study the advanced needling technique called I.M.S. (Intramuscular Stimulation) with the famous pain specialist, Dr. Chan Gunn. In 2000, Bruce received “Physician of the Year” at the Asian World Congress of Acupuncture for his development of ETPS Therapy protocols.
